Carissa began their career as an Online Content Intern at Leadhub in 2015, where they gained experience in web design, content creation, and search engine optimization.
Carissa then worked as a Student Worker and Pre-Press Technician at Texas State University, where they created print and electronic media for customers, managed social media accounts, and operated and maintained Kodak NexPress.
After graduating from university, Carissa joined Bailey Banks & Biddle as a Marketing Assistant. In this role, they planned and executed events, collaborated with vendors, and evaluated marketing strategies based on market trends.
Carissa then moved on to Lennar, where they worked as a Marketing Coordinator. Here, they managed social media content, coordinated with an advertising agency, and ensured timely completion of technical presentations for new model homes.

In 2018, Carissa joined Perry Homes as a Divisional Marketing Manager, where they planned and executed monthly events, developed marketing collateral, and conducted market research.
Carissa'snext role was as a Marketing Account Manager at ImageBloom, Inc., where they worked directly with clients to determine marketing needs for medical practices and clinical research sites. Carissa created and managed paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms and wrote content for various marketing materials.
Most recently, Carissa served as a Client Success Strategist at Hearst, where they successfully managed client accounts and developed strategies to ensure client success.
Currently, Carissa is working as a Client Success Manager at SocialMadeSimple, LLC.
