Tommy Richardson, Jr.

Tommy Richardson, Jr. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tommy is currently the Co-Founder of PaySoko Systems, Inc. since October 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded GlobalSoko Foundation, Inc. in March 2020.

From 2017 onwards, Tommy worked in philanthropy development, project management, consulting, and advisory roles. Tommy focused on executing IT business systems and projects, social impact investment and ROI, strategic planning and analysis, international diversity program development, and start-up and fundraising advisory. Tommy has a track record of assembling diverse teams and advancing strategic project development.

In 2012, Tommy co-founded Social Media Gateways (SMG) and served as the COO. SMG's flagship product SSNAPP is an award-winning solution that helps brands activate social media influence, drive advocacy, deliver results, and enhance customer experiences. The product uses predictive intelligence to connect brands with loyal fans for more targeted marketing efforts.

Before SMG, Tommy worked as the Principal of Business Development & Operations at Zorate LLC from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Executive Technical Sales Consultant at Agilysys from 2005 to 2010. In this role, they managed portfolio projects and built relationships with c-suite stakeholders in the hospitality and entertainment industries.

Tommy also worked as a Creative Entertainment Consultant at LV/CHI Entertainment from 2008 to 2010, and as an IT Special Projects member at the Memphis Grizzlies in 2004-2005. Tommy began their career as an Associate Team Member, contributing to various organizations from 1997 to 2005. Additionally, Tommy was part of the Walt Disney World College Program Alumni in 2002.

Tommy Richardson, Jr. began their education at Columbia College Chicago in 1991 and completed their studies there in 1999. Tommy then attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 2000 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Communications R.T. Audio Production in the field of Information Systems Technology. In 2002, Tommy obtained a Certification in Resort Management from Florida State University. Tommy also briefly studied at Swansea University in 2003, though no specific degree or field of study is provided for that period.
