Karla Rosario has a diverse work experience in the marketing and beauty industries. Karla began their career in 2016 as a Content Creator at Social Native, where they communicated with brands to construct original ads in forms of images and videos, partnered with brands to create sponsored promotional posts, and was awarded brand favorite for NYX cosmetics. In 2018, they took on the role of Executive Director of Digital Media and Social Media Junior Director at the American Marketing Association. In 2019, they were a Marketing Assistant at Florida International University - College of Business, where they ran and managed social media and content marketing on all FIU Business social media platforms, implemented and created a content calendar, and collaborated with internal departments to create content for social media. Also in 2019, they were Co-President of the American Marketing Association at Florida International University, where they provided members with the necessary tools to excel in the marketing industry, oversaw the chapter and its members, and developed and planned AMA's Florida Regional Conference. In 2020, they were a 2020 MAIP Fellow, where they were selected as a Social Strategist Maip Fellow, participated in an 11-week Spring training and 12-week virtual engagement program, and produced media and creative campaigns with Mindshare, Publicis NY, and Dentsu Aegis. Currently, they are an Assistant Brand Manager and Brand Manager Intern at Barkley. Additionally, they have worked as a freelance Makeup Artist/Hairstylist since 2016.
Karla Rosario has a comprehensive education history. Karla began their studies in 2016 at Miami Dade College, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Karla also attended School for Advanced Studies North during this time. In 2018, Karla enrolled at Florida International University's College of Business, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and a Certificate in Social Media & E-marketing analytics. During this time, they also attended The Honors College at Florida International University. In addition, Karla has obtained various certifications from Google and Hootsuite, including Campaign Manager, Creative Certification, Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360, Google Ads Search, Google Ads- Measurement, Google Ads Display, Google Ads Video, Google Analytics Individual Qualification, and Social Media Marketing.
