Jaromir Harmacek

Jaromir Harmacek is the Acting Research Director at the Social Progress Imperative. He conducts research and analysis mostly at the global level, but participates also in various research initiatives at the subnational level. Jaromir has an academic background and has been working as a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Development and Environmental Studies, Palacky University Olomouc, Czech Republic, a position he still holds on a part-time basis.

Jaromir holds two master degrees and earned his Ph.D. in International Economic Relations at the University of Economics in Prague.
