Tara Shawa

Tara Shawa is a Program Assistant for Measure of America at the Social Science Research Council, with a tenure beginning in April 2023. Prior experience includes a technical engagement management internship at Yext, a web development internship with Arts Ed Newark, and an app development and quality assurance internship at Indi. Additionally, Tara served as a Community Action Fellow at Princeton University, where responsibilities included managing budgets and community partnerships for service programming. Earlier experience as a research assistant for the Princeton Gerrymandering Project involved processing election data to support nonpartisan redistricting efforts. Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Princeton University, completed in 2022.
