Dr. Janíce T Samuels, EdD, PROSCI, CAPM, currently serves as the Glen Sigurdson Fellow at RESOLVE, focusing on conflict resolution work and public policy mediation strategies. As an advisor at the University of Michigan, Dr. Samuels contributes to a research lab exploring the relationship between public art and firearm injury prevention. In addition, Dr. Samuels is an adjunct professor at Antioch University Seattle and the founding executive director of the National Youth Art Movement, which promotes youth leadership in gun violence prevention. Previous experience includes education management and technology consulting, as well as leadership roles at various educational institutions, where Dr. Samuels developed innovative programs and frameworks to enhance educational offerings. Dr. Samuels holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Doctor of Education from Pepperdine University and a Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine Caruso Law.
