Elena Samsonova Cmp

Elena Samsonova, CMP has a diverse work experience starting from 2003. Elena began their career as an Outreach Assistant at Population Services International and then worked as a Lecturer at Saratov State Medical University. In 2005, they became a Project Manager at American International Health Alliance, and in 2010, they joined the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration as the Director of the Center of International Projects / International Student Services. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Conference Planning & Continuing Education at Social Thinking.

Elena Samsonova, CMP has a diverse educational background. In 2000, they began their studies at Saratov State University named after N.G.Chernyshevsky, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Elena'stime at Saratov State University lasted until 2005 and equipped their with a solid foundation in this field.

Following this, in 2009, Elena enrolled in The University of Edinburgh to pursue a Master's degree in Global Health and Public Policy with a focus on International Public Health/International Health. Elena completed their studies in 2010, gaining expertise in the field of global health and public policy.

In 2013, Elena furthered their academic journey by enrolling in the Central and East European Studies Department at the University of Glasgow. Although it was a non-degree fellowship, this experience allowed their to gain a deeper understanding of Central and East European studies. Elena successfully completed this program in 2014, expanding their knowledge in this field.

Aside from their formal education, Elena Samsonova also obtained the prestigious Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council in November 2019. This certification underscores their expertise and proficiency in managing and organizing meetings and events.
