As the Director of Capacity Building for Social Venture Partners Dallas, I work dynamically across all SVP Dallas programs and events. This multifaceted role involves overseeing our extensive network of SVP Dallas Partners and the essential social impact organizations we support, driving capacity-building projects, and managing the Advisee to Investee cycle within the SVP Dallas Opportunities Committee.
Working alongside esteemed professionals in both nonprofit and business sectors, I continuously enhance my skills and knowledge. Each day presents new opportunities for personal and professional growth as I navigate diverse challenges and collaborate with top-tier individuals.
In addition to my primary responsibilities, I collaborate with an impressive team at SVP Dallas to plan and execute community events, manage sponsorships and partnerships, coordinate with our Board of Directors, and ensure that team members, Partners, and the greater community are kept apprised of our collective work to do good, better.
Before joining SVP Dallas, I worked as a commercial film production manager and line producer for production companies shooting commercials all over the U.S. for everything from Subaru to HEB, even hanging out of a helicopter in Mexico. However, since joining SVP Dallas, I have enjoyed being immersed in the Nonprofit Sector and having the opportunity to apply my project management skills to events and projects like bigBANG!, SILS, the digital gatherings, the Opportunities Committee, and more.
From 1995 to 1998, Danielle King attended Texas Christian University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio, Television and Film.
