Ellis Christie has extensive experience in quality assurance and improvement within the healthcare and forensic sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Internal Quality Assurance and Customer Experience at Social Work England since October 2019, Ellis previously held multiple roles at The Health and Care Professions Council, including Quality Assurance Development Manager and Fitness to Practise Quality Manager. Prior positions include Quality Assurance Officer and Fitness to Practise Officer at The Nursing and Midwifery Council, and DNA Quality Manager at LGC Forensics. Initially, Ellis began a career as a Senior Analyst at the Forensic Science Service. Educationally, Ellis holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Royal Holloway, University of London, completed in 2002.
