Chintan Dalal

Chintan Dalal has a wealth of work experience in the fields of data science and software engineering. Starting in 2003, they held the roles of Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2006, they moved to General Dynamics Robotic Systems as a Senior Software Engineer. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Research Fellow, Research Assistant, and Teaching Assistant at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. In 2015, they became a Research Fellow at NCAR - The National Center for Atmospheric Research. In 2018, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. In 2020, they were a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science and a Principal Data Scientist at Illinois Policy. Currently, they are a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at LUDEX, LLC and is set to become a Senior Data Scientist at Socially Determined in 2022.

Chintan Dalal received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Rutgers University in 2019, a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005, and is currently enrolled at the University of Minnesota.
