Oriol Janés Pereira

Oriol Janés Pereira has extensive work experience in the field of software development and technical leadership. Oriol is currently working as a Senior Frontend Developer at socialPALS since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Mobile Jazz from June 2018 to July 2023, starting as a Senior Web Developer and eventually becoming a Web Technical Lead. Before Mobile Jazz, Oriol served as the CTO & Lead Developer at Geomotion Games from February 2016 to October 2018.

Oriol also gained experience at Altran as a Senior Developer & Operational Leader from February 2015 to February 2016. Prior to that, they were a PHP Development Team Lead at Planeta Sistemas y Operaciones, contributing from June 2014 to February 2016. Oriol briefly worked as a Programmer Analyst at CCMA i CCRTV in 2014.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Ulises Interactive as a Web Developer from February 2012 to March 2014, and at ACPET as a WebMaster from September 2011 to December 2011. Oriol also gained experience in computer diagnostics and repair at Acer Care from September 2007 to July 2009.

Oriol Janés Pereira completed their education at various institutions over the years. From 2009 to 2013, they attended the Universitat de Barcelona, where they obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Science. Following this, from 2013 to 2015, Oriol pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science and Security at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.

In addition to their formal education, Oriol also obtained several certifications. In May 2013, they completed a course on Android application programming at the Universitat Politècnica de València. Oriol also obtained a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the University of California, Berkeley in the same month and year. Furthermore, Oriol earned a certification in MongoDB for Developers from 10gen.

Before pursuing their formal education, Oriol also undertook studies in music. From 2008 to 2011, they attended Jam Session and gained expertise in electric guitar performance, achieving a Grade 6 certificate from RockSchool London.
