Born in Rome on November 29, 1976. Graduated in Business Administration from Luigi Bocconi University in Milan and holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business University of Pennsylvania. He is Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Ardian Infrastructure Americas. At Ardian he manages and follows investments in the United States as well as Europe in different areas in the infrastructure sector. He is also currently a Director of Ardian US, Windpower Ltd and Maple Canada Solutions. Previously, he served, among others, on the Boards of: 2iReteGas, SEA (Chairman of the Remuneration Committee), 3New, HISI. He joined Ardian in 2007. Previously, he worked at Merrill Lynch, in the European Leveraged Finance team in London, UBS Investment Bank in Milan, in the Corporate Finance team, and JP Morgan, in the TMT team in London.

The Company operates through four sectors. The Motorway sector operates through subsidiaries, including Autostrada Torino Savona SpA, Societa Autostrada Torino Alessandria Piacenza SpA, Autocamionale Della Cisa SpA, Autostrada dei Fiori SpA and Societa Autostrade Valdostane SpA, among others. The Technology sector includes development of fiber optics, as well as creation of advanced mobility management systems and traffic management software. The Construction/Engineering sector carries out construction and maintenance activities for motorway assets through subsidiaries, such as ABC Costruzioni SpA and Cisa Engineering SpA, among others.
