Firas E.

Firas E. is a seasoned professional in the insurance and reinsurance industry, currently serving as the Senior Advisor and Acting Head of Non-Life Africa at Société Centrale de Réassurance since June 2022. With extensive experience, Firas also holds the position of Executive Director, overseeing Non-Life Treaty for Asia, the Middle East, and Client Relations. Prior roles include Managing Partner at FEA Versicherungsmakler GmbH, General Manager at Arig, and a Senior Advisor at Munich Health Daman. Firas has a solid background in management, having served as General Manager at Takaful Re and Al-Aqeelah Takaful Insurance, as well as at Syria International Insurance. Firas began a career at Munich Re, where tenure spanned 15 years, culminating as CEO/GM of the Kuala Lumpur Branch. Firas is a graduate of the University of Cologne with a Diplom Kaufmann in Business Administration and Management.
