Mélanie Leblanc went sailing in Canada and internationally for a few years and working at the Institut maritime du Québec (IMQ), first as a teacher from 2008, then as Deputy Director of Student Services from 2012 to 2019, Ms. Leblanc was appointed Director of the IMQ in June 2019. As such, she is responsible for the management of all the programs, activities, and resources that contribute to the mission of the IMQ within the framework of her mandate. exclusive maritime college education. Very involved in her community, Ms. Leblanc also sits on the board of directors of the Quatre Temps Dance School and volunteers in various fundraising campaigns for the Association du cancer de l'Est du Québec. She has a diploma in navigation from IMQ.
