Nicolas Samsoen

Nicolas Samsoen is an experienced public administrator and strategist currently serving as Maire of Ville de Massy since October 2017 and Vice-président chargé des finances at Conseil départemental de l’Essonne since July 2021. In addition, Nicolas holds the position of Président du comité stratégique at Société du Grand Paris and serves as Vice-président and Premier vice-président chargé des finances at Communauté Paris-Saclay. Prior to these roles, Nicolas served as Advisor to the CEO and Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at Transdev from September 2013 to December 2018, and as Project Manager for the Strategic Plan 2020 at SNCF from October 2012 to September 2013. Nicolas's earlier career included roles such as Managing Director of AREP Vietnam and Director général at EPAMSA, where notable urban development projects were initiated. Nicolas has a solid educational background, holding an engineering degree in civil engineering from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and a DEA in Mathematics and Economics from Ecole normale supérieure, among other prestigious institutions.
