Hugues Breden

Hugues Breden, PMP, currently serves as the IT Chief Operating Officer at Société Générale since August 2011, overseeing the IT COO department with a focus on sourcing strategy, finance, budget management, and leading Agile and continuous delivery transformations. Previously, Hugues held the position of Offshoring Program Manager, responsible for the IT activities transfer to a captive in Bangalore, and served as Application Manager for Structured Finance, managing credit portfolio management and liquidity calculator applications for the global finance business line of SGCIB. Earlier experience includes Deputy Head of Risk, Referential and Finance Technology at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre from September 2008 to July 2011, as well as roles as CIO and Deputy CIO at Société Générale from March 2000 to August 2008. Hugues holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal, earned between 1992 and 1995.
