John Saffrett

John Saffrett is currently the Deputy CEO of ALD Automotive at Société Générale. John has held this position since February 2015. Prior to that, they were Managing Director and Program Director at Newedge from June 2006 to February 2015. In that role, they were responsible for a variety of projects, including leading a subsidiarisation project converting the UK entity from a branch into a limited company. John also led a process transformation program with the Finance function and led the UK team working on the Global Transformation Program.

From March 1997 to June 2006, John Saffrett was the IT Director for ALD Automotive in the UK. In that role, they played a key role in the integration of acquired businesses as well as managing the implementation of a new core end to end application architecture for the firm, including updating its ecommerce offering in 2002.

Prior to their time at ALD Automotive, John Saffrett was the Ford and Jaguar account manager at COIN FINANCIAL SYSTEMS LIMITED from January 1996 to March 1997.

John Saffrett has an MBA in Automotive from Nottingham University Business School and a BSc in Computer Science from University of Hertfordshire.
