Michael Walsh

Michael Walsh is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in IT and operations within the financial services industry. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of IT/Operations for Capital Markets in the Americas at Societe Generale since August 2006, Michael has held key leadership positions at various financial institutions, including Executive Consultant at IXIS CIB, Chief Operating Officer at Commerzbank AG, and Divisional Head for Transaction Banking Services at Deutsche Bank. Michael's career began at Drexel Burnham Lambert as Vice President of Operations and has included roles such as Director of Product Development at the National Association of Securities Dealers, First Vice President at Lehman Brothers, and Director of Operations at Robert Fleming. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management from Lehman College.
