Dr. Amy Robertson is a highly experienced professional in the field of Radiography and education, currently serving as the Professional Officer for Education & Accreditation at the Society and College of Radiographers since July 2022. Prior to this role, Dr. Robertson held various positions at Robert Gordon University, including Academic Practice Developer and Lecturer, and contributed as an External Examiner for postgraduate MSc Nuclear Medicine at both the University of the West of England and Trinity College Dublin. With a background that includes roles as a Senior Radiographer at Alliance Medical Ltd and a Nuclear Medicine Radiographer at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Dr. Robertson has a strong foundation in both clinical practice and academic development. Dr. Robertson's educational accomplishments include a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Lancaster University, an MSc in Nuclear Medicine, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice.

The Society of Radiographers is the trade union and professional body for radiographers and all non-medical members of the workforce in diagnostic imaging and radiotherapy in the UK. It is responsible for their professional, educational, public and workplace interests. The College of Radiographers is the charitable subsidiary of the Society and it exists for the benefit of the public. The College's objects are directed towards education, research and other activities in support of the science and practice of radiography. Together, the Society and College shape the healthcare agenda and lead opinion on a wide range of professional issues. We set the standards that become the policies adopted and acclaimed by governments and health professionals worldwide.
