Emily Witten is a seasoned professional in the field of medical imaging, currently serving as the Clinical Services Manager for Imaging at Circle Health Group since June 2022. In addition to this role, Emily contributes to the Magnetic Resonance Advisory Group at the Society and College of Radiographers since July 2021. Previously, Emily held various positions at Spire Healthcare Group plc from 2003 to June 2022, including Deputy Imaging Manager, Lead MRI Radiographer, and MRI Technician. Emily began a career in radiography at Solihull Hospital from September 2000 to June 2003. Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Radiography from the University of Central England in 2000 and is currently pursuing a Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer certification from the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety.

The Society of Radiographers is the trade union and professional body for radiographers and all non-medical members of the workforce in diagnostic imaging and radiotherapy in the UK. It is responsible for their professional, educational, public and workplace interests. The College of Radiographers is the charitable subsidiary of the Society and it exists for the benefit of the public. The College's objects are directed towards education, research and other activities in support of the science and practice of radiography. Together, the Society and College shape the healthcare agenda and lead opinion on a wide range of professional issues. We set the standards that become the policies adopted and acclaimed by governments and health professionals worldwide. In the workplace, we pioneer new ways of working and ensure that imaging professionals work in a safe and fair environment.
