Fatema Gharzai has held a variety of roles in the marketing and membership fields since 2007. Starting as an Administrative Assistant at AICC, The Independent Packaging Association, they then moved to the American Society for Horticultural Science as a Membership and Marketing Coordinator in 2008. In 2011, they became the Subscription and Fulfillment Manager at the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, followed by a role as a Project and Operations Manager at Griffin & Company, Inc. in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Media Analyst (contractor) at AARP. From 2014 to 2018, they were the Director of Membership and Marketing at the American Society for Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN), and then a Marketing Manager and Marketing Contractor at the American Chemical Society. Since 2020, they have been a Freelance Marketing Consultant. In 2022, they will become the Director of Membership and Marketing at The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Fatema Gharzai obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from SUNY Empire State College between 2012 and 2014.
