Sara Hoopes

Sara Hoopes has worked in various roles across a range of organizations. Sara began their career in 2007 as Manager of Corporate Relations at the Chicago Botanic Garden. In 2011, they moved to Barilla Group as an Integrated Marketing Communications specialist. Sara then joined the Art Institute of Chicago in 2013 as an Associate Director. In 2015, they were appointed Director of Corporate, Foundation & Government Relations at the Adler Planetarium. In 2017, they became Director of Corporate Relations & Development at the Society for Vascular Surgery. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Director of the Foundation at the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Sara Hoopes earned a Master's degree in Law & Policy from Vermont Law and Graduate School in 2001. Sara then went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy & Environmental Studies from Iowa State University. After that, they obtained a Professional Certificate in Marketing Communications from Oakton College. Finally, they became a Professional Coach from the Coaches Training Institute in 2016.
