Helen Grady is a highly experienced professional in the field of technical communication and engineering education. As a Technical Advisor at Mercer Engineering Research Center since August 2021, Grady leverages extensive expertise gained from previous roles, including serving as a Fellow at the Society for Technical Communication since 2012. Grady held various academic positions at Mercer University from 2001 to 2021, including Professor and Chair of the Department of Technical Communication. Additionally, Grady contributed as Chair of the Editorial Advisory Board for the IEEE Professional Communication Society from 2006 to 2018 and served as a Visiting Faculty Member at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences in 2012. Grady's career began at Northrop Grumman Corporation, where there was a focus on managing technical publications from 1981 to 1989.
