Scott Beckwith

Scott Beckwith has extensive experience in the field of materials and structures, currently serving as the SAMPE Global Technical Director since February 1998. In addition to this role, Scott Beckwith is the President and CTO of BTG Composites, Inc., where responsibilities include consultancy, expert witness work in product liability and patent litigation, and organization of technology workshops and seminars. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University and a PhD in Materials & Structures, specializing in interdisciplinary engineering. Scott Beckwith also holds editorial positions for the SAMPE Journal and the Journal of Advanced Materials.
