Ann Purcell

Ann Purcell has a diverse work experience in the field of travel journalism and photography. Ann began their career in 1983 as a travel photographer and later became a co-owner of a stock photography business called words and pictures, which they managed until 2003. Ann has also worked as a photographer for various companies such as Alamy, Corbis Corporation, and Travel Agent Magazine. In addition, they served as a member and past president of the Society of American Travel Writers. Starting from 2003, Ann joined Bay Area Travel Writers as a travel journalist. Overall, Ann has extensive experience in photography, travel journalism, and leadership roles in the travel industry.

From 1972 to 1973, Ann Purcell attended George Mason University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Physics.
