Susan Lacey Ph.D., Rn, Cnl, Faan

Susan Lacey, PhD, RN, CNL, FAAN has a diverse work experience. Susan is currently serving as the Associate Director of Quality and Research at the Society of Critical Care Medicine since April 2022. Previously, they were a Professor at MUSC in 2016. From 2007 to 2011, they held the position of Director of Workforce and Systems Analysis at Children's Mercy Hospital and also served as the Director of Nursing Workforce & System Analysis during the same period.

Susan Lacey, PhD, RN, CNL, FAAN completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at the University of Southern MS from 1982 to 1984. Susan further pursued their education at Kansas State University, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Family Life Education and Consultation from 1993 to 1997.
