Julie MacHulsky

Julie Machulsky has extensive work experience with the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM). Julie started working at SGIM in 1999 as a Member Services Assistant, where they were responsible for tasks such as processing dues payments and maintaining the membership database. Julie then became a Regional Coordinator, overseeing regional meetings and managing budgets. During their time in this role, they increased regional meeting registration by 28% and conducted leadership training seminars. From 2008 to 2012, Julie worked as a Committee Coordinator, managing multiple projects and events for various organizational subgroups and developing an annual leadership training seminar. In 2012, they transitioned into the role of Community Manager, where they oversaw the society's social media strategy, member engagement efforts, and technical aspects of the online member community. Most recently, Julie served as the Director of Technology Services, starting in January 2020.
