Ernest Felix

Ernest Felix is currently serving as the Chief of Staff and Human Resources at the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) since April 2023. Prior to this role, Ernest accumulated nearly three decades of experience at Intel Corporation, where significant positions included Human Resource, D&I, Leader Development Professional, and Technical Leadership Development Manager, leading numerous diversity and inclusion initiatives. Ernest played a pivotal role in advancing the technical pipeline for a large engineering organization and managing global diversity education programs impacting over 50,000 employees. Additionally, Ernest held the position of Treasurer on the Board of Directors for SHPE from June 2015 to June 2020 and was Vice President, Senior Human Resource Manager at First Nationwide Bank from February 1991 to August 1995. Ernest holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Arizona State University and has further education from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
