Yajaira de la Paz

Yajaira De La Paz is an accomplished professional with a strong background in development and workforce services. Currently serving as the Director of Development & Major Gifts at SHPE since June 2022, Yajaira is responsible for implementing strategic fundraising efforts and expanding relationships with major and prospective donors. From May 2010 to June 2022, Yajaira held the position of Director of Career Center Services at Pasadena City College, where significant contributions included securing over $1.25 million in grants, developing innovative programs focused on diversity and inclusion, and enhancing student career readiness through various initiatives. Yajaira holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from Mount Saint Mary's University and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College.
