Jonathan Kirsch

Jonathan Kirsch is a clinical director and associate professor of medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical Center since August 2014, specializing in hospitalist medicine, global health pathway education, and quality improvement. Additionally, Jonathan serves as a hospitalist at the University of Minnesota Medical School and as a senior fellow in hospital medicine with the Society of Hospital Medicine. Jonathan was a Fulbright Scholar from August 2017 to July 2018, focusing on tropical diseases and ultrasound in Colombia. Prior experience includes roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where Jonathan contributed to the hospital medicine program and global health education. Jonathan has also served on the board of Doctors for Global Health, was director of mobile health at Finger Lakes Migrant Health, and has a strong background in working with migrant farmworkers and mentoring in quality improvement. Jonathan holds an MD from the University of Minnesota Medical School and a BA in Neuroscience from Wesleyan University.
