Craig Blouir has over 30 years of experience in information technology, with expertise in managing IT operations and implementing technology solutions for various organizations. Craig most recently served as the Director of Information Technology at the Society of Interventional Radiology, where they were responsible for ensuring IT resources aligned with the association's strategic plan. Prior to that, they worked as the Information Systems Manager at the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, where they developed and implemented the organization's technology plan. Craig also has experience as a Senior Project Manager at TMA Resources, overseeing the implementation of software for association needs. Craig Blouir earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Computer Science from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 1977 to 1982. Craig later pursued a Master of Science degree in Management at National Louis University from 1993 to 1994.

The Society of Interventional Radiology is a national organization of physicians, trainees, students, scientists, clinical associates and other allied health professionals dedicated to improving public health through disease management and minimally invasive, image-guided therapeutic interventions. The mission of SIR is to improve the health of the public through pioneering advances in image-guided therapy. Interventional radiologists are physicians who specialize in minimally invasive, targeted treatments. They offer the most in-depth knowledge of the least invasive treatments available coupled with diagnostic and clinical experience across all specialties. Many conditions that once required surgery can be treated less invasively by interventional radiologists.
