Prior to this role, Dena worked as an Event Manager at FamTech.org from March 2022 to May 2023 and held various positions at the Reading Recovery Council of North America between November 2020 and April 2023, including Coordinator of Educational Events & Programs and Program Generalist. Dena's career also includes significant contributions to AMLE from January 2011 to November 2020 as Conference and Programming Manager, Program Coordinator, and Member Services Specialist, as well as experience as Membership & Customer Service Assistant at the National Ground Water Association from February 2007 to January 2011.

The Society of Interventional Radiology is a national organization of physicians, trainees, students, scientists, clinical associates and other allied health professionals dedicated to improving public health through disease management and minimally invasive, image-guided therapeutic interventions. The mission of SIR is to improve the health of the public through pioneering advances in image-guided therapy. Interventional radiologists are physicians who specialize in minimally invasive, targeted treatments.
