Arthur Townsend IV, M.D.

Arthur Townsend IV MD, MBA, FACOG, LSSC, CPHQ currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of HealthChoice, LLC, and has held the position of Clinical Instructor at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center since 1994. In addition, Arthur Townsend IV is the Vice President and Chief Clinical Transformation Officer at Methodist Healthcare, responsible for leading clinical performance and quality innovation efforts, and has held various other leadership roles within the organization, including Program Director of the Physician Leadership Academy and Medical Director of the OB Hospitalist Program. As President of Integrated Physician Services, PLLC, Arthur Townsend IV manages an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist and Patient Safety Organization. A founding member of the Society of OB/GYN Hospitalists, Arthur Townsend IV is dedicated to enhancing the safety and quality of inpatient Women's Health care. Academic qualifications include an MBA from the Haslam College of Business, an MD from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
