Alexander Bechteler has a background in IT management, having worked in this field for over 15 years. Currently serving as the Information Technology Manager at The Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Alexander is responsible for providing strategic direction and overseeing the execution of IT projects. Prior to this role, Alexander held the position of IT Manager at Thatcher Oaks, Inc. Alexander holds a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

STS is the premier professional society for these individuals.
