Kimberly Zimmerman

Kimberly Zimmerman serves as the Systems Engineering Section Lead for the Strategic Missiles at BAE Systems since January 2019, overseeing Systems Engineering for the Strategic Missiles segment of the PGSS Product Line. Previously, Kimberly held various roles focused on quality management within defense contracts, including Program Quality Engineering Manager for THAAD Development and Production, and Program Manager for THAAD Post Production. Additionally, Kimberly has been a dedicated member of the Society of Women Engineers since college, where responsibilities included Awards Coordinator, Southern NH Section President, and Professional Member. Kimberly is also a Professional Member of the American Society for Quality and held the position of Membership Chair. Kimberly's expertise is complemented by certifications such as Six Sigma Greenbelt and ISO 9001:2008/AS9100 Rev C, along with experience in quality assurance and chemical engineering across multiple organizations and roles. Kimberly holds an MSE in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University.
