Mehak Walia

Mehak Walia is a dedicated member of the Society of Women Engineers since August 2018, currently serving as SWE President. Mehak gained experience as an ERDP Gas Operations Engineering Intern at Pacific Gas and Electric Company from May 2022 to July 2022, where skills in Microsoft Excel, problem solving, and communication were developed. In June 2020, Mehak participated in the AT&T Summer Learning Academy Externship, a self-paced online program created in response to COVID-19. Mehak also interned at Pacific Gas and Electric Company in the summer of 2017, engaging in project-based learning and receiving certifications in CPR, Traffic and Flagging, and OSHA 10. Mehak is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at California State University-Sacramento, expected to graduate in May 2025.
