Riya Gyanmote

Riya Gyanmote, EIT, is a Process Engineer at Eli Lilly and Company and serves as the Professional Development Chair for the Society of Women Engineers - Central Indiana Chapter. With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Riya has contributed to various engineering roles, including leading events as the External Vice President and Mentorship Director for Women in Mechanical Science and Engineering, where networking and mentoring programs were prioritized. Previous internships include optimizing engineering processes at Solar Turbines and developing instructional materials at ITW Shakeproof Industrial. A commitment to professional development and community engagement is evident through Riya's diverse experiences, including roles in education and environmental advocacy.
