Sara Clarin is a skilled engineering professional with a background in computer science and cybersecurity, currently pursuing a master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at the University of Southern California. As a member of the Society of Women Engineers since August 2018, Sara engages with diverse engineering disciplines and fosters networking opportunities. Experience includes a software engineering internship at Mercury Systems, where Sara utilized C programming in an Agile setting, and various academic roles, such as serving as a teaching assistant for cryptography and algorithms. Additional internships at MySongbird and the Notre Dame Mobile Computing Lab involved data management and application development, while Sara also contributed to environmental education as a volunteer at Glacier National Park. Prior to further studies, Sara was a student-athlete on the University of Notre Dame's Division 1 varsity rowing team, demonstrating strong time management and teamwork skills.
