Suzy Astbury

Suzy Astbury is an accomplished Executive Headhunter with over a decade of experience in the publishing industry. Since April 2010, Suzy has served as the Chief Executive Officer at Inspired Selection, specializing in various sectors including Trade Fiction, Non-fiction, Children's books, Education, Academic, Scientific, Technical, and Medical Publishing. Additionally, Suzy has been a member of the Advisory Board for the Society of Young Publishers since January 2019. Prior experience includes a consultancy role at JFL Search & Selection, and a Foreign Rights Executive position at Michael O'Mara Books Limited, managing rights across multiple territories and handling international distribution. Suzy's career also includes a role as Sales and Marketing Coordinator at QED Publishing, where responsibilities encompassed promoting children's educational materials. Suzy holds a BA Hons in Media & Theatre from The University of Huddersfield.
