Uroš Uršič

Uro L. is a Research Data Engineer at Citadel Securities, specializing in Alt Data Alpha since July 2022. Prior to this role, Uro was an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Maryland, focusing on revenue-maximizing auctions with differentiable matching, a project accepted in AISTATS 2022. Uro also served as Co-President of the Smith Investment Fund, leading systematic strategy research from September 2018 to December 2021. Uro gained software engineering experience through internships at Facebook, working on Assistant Question Answering and Civic Integrity, and completed a quantitative research internship at Millennium Management LLC, where the focus was on systematic VIX and options strategy research. Uro holds a degree from the University of Maryland and graduated from Montgomery Blair High School's Math, Science, and Computer Science Magnet program.
