Stephen O'Brien

Stephen O'Brien is an experienced professional in the fields of communications and journalism, currently serving as Director at Sodali & Co since September 2024. Prior to this role, Stephen was a Manager at Powerscourt, a subsidiary of Sodali & Co, from January 2023 to September 2024, and has also held the position of Senior Consultant. Stephen's extensive journalism career includes serving as Ireland Political Editor for The Sunday Times from 2003 until August 2022 and as Political Correspondent for the Irish Daily Star from March 2000 to January 2003. Additionally, Stephen worked for the Irish Independent from January 1990 to March 2000, where responsibilities included Religious and Social Affairs Correspondent and Assistant News Editor. Stephen studied at the Dublin Institute of Technology from 1982 to 1984.
