Karoline Magnusdottir

Karoline Magnusdottir is a Health Economist with extensive experience in healthcare and health economics, currently working at Region Stockholm since October 2020. Prior positions include conducting a Master Thesis Project at Uppsala University, focusing on the impact of quality interventions on hospital readmissions for heart failure patients, and participating in a WHA Simulation with Young Leaders for Health, where Karoline represented Sweden in discussions on public health challenges. Karoline also held the role of Healthcare Supervisor at Mabra Care, developing internal guidelines and overseeing healthcare issues, and worked as a Physiotherapist at Landstinget Sörmland, engaging in clinical patient work and establishing collaborative guidelines. Educationally, Karoline holds a Master's degree in Health Economics, Policy and Management from Karolinska Institutet, along with several other qualifications related to health and teaching.
