Dr. Almardini is a board certified pathologist and dermatopathologist. She graduated with honors from Damascus University in Syria with her medical degree. Dr. Almardini started her anatomic/clinical pathology residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center and completed it at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital in 2016. She did a fellowship in surgical/gastrointestinal pathology at Rhode Island Hospital followed by a dermatopathology fellowship at Roger Williams Medical Center/ Boston University in 2018. She most recently worked as a pathologist at Mercyhealth Hospital in Rockford, Illinois. Dr. Almardini joined Soderstrom Skin Institute in 2019 and provides dermatopathology services for Illinois and Iowa patients.
