Lucy Goodson

Lucy Goodson is an experienced emergency physician currently serving the greater Seattle area at three hospital sites since July 2023. Previously, Lucy completed a residency at the University of Washington from May 2019 to July 2023. Lucy contributed to human rights initiatives as a volunteer at Mount Sinai Health System from September 2014 to November 2017, coordinating research studies and aiding asylum seekers with medical evaluations. Additional experience includes working as an intern in medical case management for the International Rescue Committee in 2015, editing SAT practice essays for Essay 101 from January 2010 to March 2015, and coordinating educational programs through Smart Start in 2011. Lucy also played a key role in founding Duke University's sexual assault awareness program, PACT, during tenure at the Duke Women's Center. Lucy earned an MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2019 and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Duke University in 2013.
