Tesfu L. Hailu

Dr. Hailu is a board certified general practitioner, pathologist and dermatopathologist. He received his medical degree from Addis Ababa University – Gondar College of Medical Sciences in Ethiopia. Dr. Hailu completed his anatomic/clinical pathology residency at Drexel University College of Medicine where he was chief resident. He started his surgical pathology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and then completed his dermatopathology fellowship at Drexel University College of Medicine in 2011. Most recently, Dr. Hailu worked as a dermatopathologist at DynaLIFE in Edmonton, Alberta. He joined Soderstrom Skin Institute in 2020 and provides dermatopathology services for Illinois and Iowa patients.
