Edgar Ortega is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare technology management and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Healthcare Technology Management at Sodexo, Edgar oversees the lifecycle management of medical devices for University Hospitals of Cleveland, ensuring compliance with safety standards and optimizing equipment performance. Previous roles include Healthcare Technology Management Supervisor, Field Service Technician at STERIS, and Sr. Service Territory Manager at Getinge. Edgar founded Jornada Latina Media Group, dedicated to highlighting Latino voices and experiences through a podcast, and served as a Power Generation Technician in the US Army.
