Robinson Buitrago

Robinson Buitrago is an experienced EHS and sustainability professional currently serving as the LatAm QEHS-CSR Manager for Sodexo since December 2012, overseeing environmental, health, and safety efforts for Merck/MSD in the Latin American region across ten countries. Previously, Robinson held various leadership roles within Sodexo, including management of HSEQ processes for the energy and healthcare sectors in Colombia, leading a direct team of 20 responsible for operations affecting around 3,000 individuals. Early in the career at Sodexo, roles included coordination of environmental and safety efforts for oil and gas operations, particularly with Pacific Rubiales Energy. Robinson's academic background includes a degree in Environmental Engineering from Unidad Central del Valle del Cauca and a specialization in Occupational Health Management from Fundación Universitaria María Caño.
