Marc Vermeulen

Marc Vermeulen serves as Deputy CEO and Executive Vice President of the Cheese Division at Sodiaal, the premier French dairy farmers' cooperative, overseeing a key player in the European cheese market with a turnover of €1.7 billion and a network of 5,000 dairy farmers. Prior to joining Sodiaal in February 2018, Marc Vermeulen was President of Kronenbourg SAS at Carlsberg Group, where a successful turnaround was achieved for this historic brewery. Vermeulen also held the position of Managing Director at Mondelēz International, guiding the integration of three companies into a leading snack food entity in Benelux, and served in various leadership roles at Danone, driving growth and profitability in the biscuits sector in Italy and Spain. Education includes a General Management Program from INSEAD and a Post-Graduate Degree in Management Sciences from IAE Lille.
