Sodick Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer of machine tools. It has three segments. Machine Tools segment engages in the development, manufacture and sale of electrical discharge machines and machining center. Industrial Machinery segment engages in the development, manufacture and sale of plastic injection molding machines. Food Machines segment engages in the development, manufacture and sale of noodles manufacturing plant and noodle machines. In addition, the Company also involves in the leasing of machine tools and industrial equipment, precision molds and precision molding business, as well as element technology business. As of March 31, 2014, it had 22 subsidiaries.
