Charlie Hearl

Charlie Hearl is a professional with experience in various roles within the music and education sectors. Currently serving as Curator Education at Sofar Sounds since June 2022, Charlie previously held the position of Head of Sales at Uprise Academy from December 2018 to May 2022. Charlie's academic background includes a Diploma in Freelance Journalism focused on Music & the Arts from the London School of Journalism in 2021, and a BSc in Exercise Science & Psychology from the University of Birmingham, completed in 2015. Additional educational experience includes studies at Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, where Charlie was a student from January 2018 to January 2019. Earlier experience includes a role as Sports Scientist at Birmingham City FC from June 2013 to May 2015.
